Sin, psychology and love
In those circles that follow and discuss depth psychology – especially that which was built up by Carl Jung – there’s a line of thought that suggests we ought to integrate our shadow side.
A black-and-white understanding of our shadow would equate to our dark, immoral side. A shades-of-gray understanding would include underdeveloped aspects of our personality, character weaknesses and all those things we’re too uncomfortable or embarrassed to admit into consciousness. read more…
Today is the Day, Now Is the Time
God calls and passes by. Tomorrow you would no longer find your heart of today or God’s invitation.

What must we renounce and sacrifice for the Kingdom?
We start by casting down those personal gods and idols, which we allow to enslave and exercise power over us. We cannot even begin to use our wills freely until we are liberated from those powers that control us either subconsciously or in plain view by our deliberate choosing. read more…
Purity of Heart, Obedience Summon God
Out of the one billion prayers said on earth every day, only a million request supernatural aid to do something that’s pleasing to God. The other 999 million request “human joy, money and health” – and sometimes even “death to gain freedom from someone who is hateful.” So says Jesus in a dictation to Maria Valtorta1 , a Catholic mystic who wrote extensively during the 1940s. read more…
